well. nothing much to blog on actually.. didnt reali do much the last few days cus i m sick..
catch the movie; night at the museum 2 on monday night. interesting comedy show. should watch it if u haven done so.
gonna have my checkup soon next week at polyclinic; a follow-up of my stitches..
and i maybe applying for my pdl this coming weekend and start my driving lessons soon..
or maybe i shall give up the thought on tuitioning and find a job outside.. we shall see how's the response like first and decide about it..

no more cooked and purchased breakfast for me anymore. nid to chew on bread frm today onwards for every morning..
i miss home and family sometimes.. wonder if they will still miss my presence at times.. if i am not married, i guess we will be bickering at home right now..
i used to dream to go to places like maldives, rendang (any places related with beauitful seas) in the past.. regretted tt i didnt visit these places before i'm preg..
i hope i didnt make a wrong decision in life. i dun want to see myself regret in the future; for giving up everything i used to be & used to have.
for now, i wish that
-my marriage will last forever.
-my son will grow up strong, clever & filial.

well. alot of events & things happened ever since i last blogged.
so i shall just blog in sequence..
14th may 2009, thursday
brought xavier down to lighthouse clinic ard 8pm tt night becus he had been crying persistently during afternoon and night for the past 2-3days. Doc did a check for him but couldnt see anything wrong. so referred us to go to KKH children emergency. first doc (a junior doc) checked on him and again, couldnt find anything wrong with boy boy. and pass on the case to her senior doc which he then suspected it's a illness called "COLIC". (it's a illness where baby had excess wind in them and they cant let it out of their body.) but becus the doc cant confirm if it's indeed colic by the first look. so suggested us to let xavier be admitted for observation and in the mean time to do some tests and scans to have a full check on him..
boy first did an x-ray scan. den an ultrasound scan and lastly urine test. long story. but lucky everything reflects fine on boy boy. *relief* so it's confirmed to be COLIC. was prescribed some med and discharged the next day.
15th may 2009, friday
discharged at around 3pm. had lunch there with mil & fil and went back home.
16th may 2009, saturday
hm. xavier's man-yue cake arrived super late tt day at 1230pm. and we then quickly drove few pkts up to popo and mom's place as promised. and became delivery man to drive some boxes of cake individually to my relatives. came home & washup. tot we can go for shopping at last but mil & fil suddenly say they nid to buy some praying things. so bu fan xin boy boy and we waited for them to come back. end up, hubby drove me to shop at far east only ard 4plus. wasnt reali enjoying the shopping time. dear's friends kept calling which i was very dulan & also cus i cant see any nice suitable clothes tt i can buy. hai. onli bought a set of working clothes (which is a must to buy & wear during my interview) at omose & reds.
then set off to sijiang's place for his daughter's 1st bdae celebration. it was a bbq session. and went home ard 11pm.
17th may 2009, sunday
xavier had his full month celebration that day. we overslept in the morning and woke up at 8am. (supposed to set off to my mom's place before 8am instead..) did a quick washup and had bai-bai at home first. fil then trim alittle of boy boy's hair (instead of shaving) and we set off to my mom's place for 2nd round of bai-bai. came back home ard 1030am and the buffet is already setting up. soon, friends came and i haven even changed and put makeup. so ugly. paisei ah.. lol
from 1030am to 6pm, friendssssss & relativesssss came. had a busy day entertaining all of them and taking care of xavier. think we had more than 100guests tt day. BIG EVENT. buffet came for 2 rounds, one @ 10.30am & 1.30pm respectively.
and i would like to thank EVERYBODY for taking their precious time out in attending my boy's big day. also, a big thanks you for all the gift, hongbaos and food that xavier received. paisei for those whose drove and walk a big round to find our place. and sorry if no proper entertaining was done. hope the food was to ur taste and you had a nice time here. once again, 谢谢。

then abt 7pm, when all guests had left, we (jiaming,weiwen,yonglong,hubby,me & calvin) went to catch a quick movie at illuma shopping mall and went back home. then alittle few rds of mahjong afterwhich. (me & hubby won. so sorry for ww & jm. haha)
18th may 2009, monday
hubby took a day's off for his work to rest. i went for a job interview with recruitexpress at taka. (hubby drove me down & we brought xavier along too. xavier's first shopping venue was TAKA. keke) was kinda cheated down cus the job scope is onli 20% of wad i was told initally thru the phone. well. i am not reali keen in getting the job bcus it is so dynamic & i bet the pay will be just so-so. anywae, i still went thru 1st & 2nd round of interview. and i will receive a call if i get enlisted. (will be rejecting the job if i reali get enlisted. it's not the kind of job i like..)
ha. but tho it was a waste trip down. i bet hubby had a "wonderful" time with boy boy while i was interviewing. right, dear? (u must be smiling to urself now if u're reading this..) afterwhich, we drove back to let me change-out and to leave boy boy at home. haha. then we set off to ikea to shop for big plastic containers to contain our junk and went back to orchard; robinsons & johnlittle to shop for my lingerie. wahaha.
guess wad? my boobs now are so much bigger. used to be B75. but now.. secret?!?! hahahaha. bought 4 triumph bras, 3 panties, and some baby stuffs. and we set off to police post to change my add on my IC. and headed back home at last.
19th may 2009, tuesday
hubby working today. back to normal life. hm. i can bath with clean clear water now but it has to be warm. i still need to continue to take confinement food (all the ginger, sesame-oil, and alcohol-cooked food) and drink (longan water) till 21st may. and no seafood for the next 40days after 21st may (my official end date for confinement). and i heard better not take cucumber for 3mths cus will get rough skin. not sure if it's true but i m believing it then to regret next tym. will not be drinking water in the mean tym cus i'm afraid of water retention. no cold drinks too. but i'm fine with everything. at least i can blow fan & aircon now. haha.

just typed a super long blog on my giving birth process and now another post on the same day again.
and.. i've added & edited some stuffs on my blogger page just now..

anywae,
- i had my last session of jamu massage just now. pocket burnt. LOL. gonna get remeinbursement from daddy. LOL.
- weigh myself again in the morning. dropped alittle to 54.8kg despite of me munching on 6squares of chocolates ytd. *yummy & unresistable*
- able to wash my hair today. YEAH!
- jus edited my resume online ytd & today i received a call to ask me to go down for an interview for the job on financial planning. (i told them i am still having my confinement right now. so only able to make it for interview 2wks later. well. they say they'll get back to me again.) maybe i shall make amendments to my hard copy of resume later on.
- decided to study next yr instead. i dun think i am able to cope with my family, baby, work & study all at a same tym. (in the meanwhile, to save up alittle for study next yr..)
- long weekend is here again. daddy's OFF on monday. so he has 3days to accompany me.
- 9 more days to end of confinement.
- weather's fine today too.

2pm- spotted red/menus on my panty-liner. bathed, blogged alittle (LOL) & prepared to set off.
3.15-3.30pm- FIL & daddy rushed home. drived to KKH & went straight to their delivery suite. did some registration at the counter and went in to their observation room to be observed for an hour. the nurse first wrapped something ard my tummy to monitor baby's heartbeat and contractions (if any) & informed me that the doc will arrive soon. i was alone cus noone is allowed to come in. not even daddy too. but i brought my fone in to msg. keke
4.30pm- doc came in & look at the chart. told me that there was little contractions shown but i couldnt feel anything at all. (bcus my waterbag isnt broken yet.) followed on, he told me that he going to check how much i've dilated. if i've dilate 3cm, he'll break my waterbag and i shall deliver by tonight. so then, he inserted something inside my vaginal. result was: 3cm dilated and he's going break my waterbag. in addition, he told me that he can feel baby's head is quite down le. *scary* then nurse came in, told mi that she will send mi to labour ward.
5-5.15pm- i'm inside the labour ward. again, they wrapped the same thing ard my tummy to monitor baby's heartbeat & contractions. soon, someone came and break my bag with a needle-like thing. tried breaking the bag twice. first attempt failed. 2nd attempt succeeded. and they said my water bag is very thin. hardly any liquid flowed out when it was broken. *no pain was felt as yet*
5.30pm- began to felt slight pain. similar to menus cramp. still tolerable. nurse asked me if i need any pain relief.. i told her i'm still doing fine with pain. if cant dahan, then i will take epidural.
6pm- 'cramps' began to be more painful & back is slowly aching. in additional, i have this shitting-pain; alittle like stomachache.
6.15-6.30pm -feel like shitting so much tt i told the nurse tt i would like to shit. *LOL* thought i will be assisted to the toilet. but i am wrong. she gave me a potty-like thing to do it on the bed. *alittle erxin but no choice* (at tt point of time, i am not sure if it is the contraction pain or the shitting pain. just request to shit first, if it isnt shit den forget it lo.) but at the end, it's reali shit pain, and i shit quite alot. it stinks too. wahahaha
6.30-7pm - after shitting, i feel much comfortable. but on the other hand, the cramps are hitting their extreme. the cramps are like converting themselves to shitting-pain/pan-sai pain or combining with the shitting-pain. then the nurse came in and i told them i cant take the pain anymore & tt i wanted epidural. however, they saw mi shit quite alot and suspected i might have dilated even more looking at the pain i am suffering. so again, they insert smt into my vaginal. result: 5cm dilated and they could feel baby's head even lower. told me tt mine will be veri fast cus i'm dilating like 2cm every hr. after then, they pass me a mask to breathe (it's pain-relief but the least effective one) and said i dun nid epidural. say i can do without it cus i already dahan so far le & i'm still so young.
7-7.45pm -the most painful moment ever. i jus breathe tt gas whenever contraction hits and grabbing my hubby's hand. screaming at times & kicking my legs on the bed.
7.45-8pm - nurses noticed tt i m in destress condition. remove my mask. (now i rely on nothin!!) insert smt in to check how much i've dilated. result: 7cm & ready to deliver. then u'll see nurses & doc walking in & out, preparing all the delivery equipments etc etc.
8pm-8.35pm - nurse began to teach mi how to PUSH & contractions hit its peak. the pain u feel now is extreme pan-sai pain. (take ur worst shitting pain ever and multiply by 3-5times.) i believed the pain is more than tt, but cus my bottom is partially numb by its own, so pain was reduced alittle. even when the nurse cut my bottom with scissors, i couldnt feel anything. all i can feel is purely the contraction. (when it hits, my eyes will b fully open. n when it's gone, i will lie back n rest to recover energy to push in the next contraction. contractions hit in each 2min interval. & in each contraction, u can push up to 4times.) this is oso the period where daddy saw baby's hair till baby's colour which is purple. bit scary hor. haha. tried pushing for the first 10-15 extreme-contractions. but failed, cus i didnt push properly. but when hubby told me baby's purplish, i told myself i nid to push properly n seriously. gan-chong le. so in the next 4-5contractions, baby came out. feeling is like shit coming out. lol.
8.36pm- xavier's born! *relief*
aftermath will be out the cleaning, measuring, weighing of baby, stitching and observation for 2hrs in the labour ward. i was sent to my ward at 11+ pm. so famished at tt moment but wad to do. have to ren till morning fer breakfast.

so tired now.

- had my 4th session of massage today. (gonna b payment day tml.) now my tummy is wrapped so tightly with the cloth till i hardly bent my body. lying position is the best and the most comfortable. and after 4sessions, i didnt exactly slim down alot nor had a drastic drop in my weight. (i had already dropped about 9kilos before the massage starts..) but my belly button had went back or sank back very nicely. all thx to the massager.
- now my MIL allows me to wash my hair once every 2days. *happy* (used to wash my hair once every 3days.) hm. in fact, it is not tt dirty during confinement. i still clean my body twice everyday and had a full bath once every 3days. but now, i will have my full bath once every 2days. and like wad i said, the herb water isnt tt bad too.
- and why izzit only thurs today. felt tt tym pass so slowly. cant wait for next sunday to come. tt's END OF CONFINEMENT!! hurray. 9more days to go!
- weather's so hot recently. keep raining in the night when it's already so cooling. kindly save the rain in the day ok? especially during the noon.
- xavier's doing well. once in a while, he'll still refuse to slp in the night. either slp late at 1am-2am or wake up early at 4am-5am. it's hard to control sometimes. and he drinking well too. crying for milk every now and then. one tub of milk powder each week abt there. lol. and he loves ppl to carry him. tt's the headache part. (arm reali aches sometimes..) but i m training him now. NO-STRAIGHT carrying whenever he crys. just try to drag tym or coax him as long as possible before each carry. hopefully he learns.
- and i'm so so addicted to playing monopoly on i-touch now. omg!

- official end to my 2nd wk of confinement & i am still enjoying all the ginger & sesame-cooked food. (i onli missed my clean-bathing days..)
- had my first session of post-natal jamu massage ytd. it was good but can be further improved. the massager will use a super long cotton cloth to wrap over my tummy after applying jamu herb on my stomach. will be having my 2nd session later on @ 2pm. (it's a package of 5massage over 5days.) *enjoy*
- boy boy's man-yue is confirmed.

SOME UPDATES ON XAVIER'S CALENDAR..
02th may 2009 - xavier's foot/hand-print done.
- he is sick tt day, went kkh children emergency for doc consultation. (he's fine now)
- and he weighs 4.025kg. (a gain of 6.025kg in about 11-12days)
17th may 2009 - putting this day to celebrate his man-yue.
21st may 2009 - xavier's official day of man-yue.
long weekend is gone. BUT not to worry.. coming weekend shall be a long one again.. (bcus it's gonna be vesak day. so i believe companies will compensate their employees either fri/mon OFF cus vesak falls on a sat. hahaha. as for hubby, his is a MONDAY. whew!
hm. tml shall mark an end to my 2nd week of confinement. but because we are celebrating boy boy's man-yue eariler on the 17th may, sunday. my confinement actually ends 4days earlier. so to say, 12more days to an EXACT end of my confinement. yippy! yeah! (but MIL told mi tt she will continue my confinement for me for another 10days.. but this confinement applys to food only.. so this means i still need to eat ginger-cooked food till maybe 27th may; which is totally fine for me. most impt thing is i can still bath anytime i like and go anywhere i want.)
so ppl, if u received my/my hubby's invitation to my boy's man-yue, do get back asap to me with ur attendance. if u want to bring ur bf/gf along, jus let us know. looking forward to see ya.

so it will be a long weekend this week.
i love it man!
anywae, i weigh myself this morning again. (the best tym to weigh urself is alwaes in the morning.
amazingly, i'm only 55.5kg now. (2days ago was 57.5kg. ytd was 56.5kg.)
and i dropped about 8.5kg. (i'm 48kg before preg and about 64kg during preg; a gain of 15kg in total.)
ok. i want to clarify tt i didnt diet at all.
i still eat 3 meals each day tt my MIL cook, and finishing everything on the plate.
NO dieting during confinement cus it wont be good for my body.
my body nids to replenish back all the nutrients now. if not, after confinement, it wont be of any use anymore.
